The ODM deputy party leader, or the kakamega county governor has warned the Party leader over his close relationship with the government.

Governor Wycliffe Oparanya talking to the Sunday standard Newspaper. Oparanya revealed that it wouldn’t be easy mathematical task for president Uhuru to support their Party leader for presidency. Despite the president ending his second term, it won’t be easy for him to endorse Raila Odinga spite the rumours behind, that’s according to governor Oparanya. The governor also remembered the historical covenant, particularly with the Odinga’s family. He said history can recur itself after being foretold 10-20 years.

Oparanya statements were “ Raila Odinga who is also my party leader, he should not be deceived by his close contact with the government, thinking that maybe he’ll get their support.”
“The moment president Uhuru Kenyatta will step down from power, for anyone who is interested in vleing for presidency, he/she will have to fight to clinch power”
